Principal King's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to MS 267 Math, Science & Technology. Our dedicated staff is committed to meeting the individual needs of all students while maintaining personal connections with all students and their families.
We invite you to become an active partner with our school. There are various ways in which you can become a member of our community: volunteering, joining the PTA and/or attending supporting school events and trips. Research clearly supports that when parents/guardians participate and are involved in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of amazing academic success for all children.
We truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of M.S. 267: The Math, Science & Technology Institute. Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and our community. All children are more successful when we work as a team to achieve educational goals.
The purpose of our team is introduced by our new school website; Please refer to this site (www.ms267.org) frequently for pertinent information.
We look forward to a wonderful year at MS 267: The Math, Science & Technology Institute. It takes a cohesive, well-tuned team to be successful. Let’s make this the best year ever, by working together for our students!
Best regards always,
Patricia King, Ed. D
Principal

Why Come To Middle School 267?
M.S. 267 provides a safe and nurturing environment where students are challenged academically each day. A culture of hard work has paid off for our students as the newly released state exam results attest: our number of students scoring “proficient” grew more than 100% from the previous year! Additionally, according to the NYC Department of Education 2016-2017 statistics, we are ranked as the top middle school in District 16 for English Language Arts and Mathematics.
M.S. 267 truly is a shining light in District 16 where our caring staff are committed to instilling academic excellence in every scholar, every day, in every classroom. Our Common Core-aligned instruction ensures our scholars are prepared to succeed in college, careers, and beyond. We have prepared and successfully sent students to the most prestigious high schools in New York City, including Stuyvesant High School and Brooklyn Technical High School.
We believe all students can learn and any student can always receive extra academic support afterschool and at our Saturday Academy. Indeed, we understand that the learning process is different for all scholars, so we ensure to individualize support for students based on their preferred learning styles.
However, at M.S. 267, we not only raise scores, we aim for much, much more. We take a holistic approach to education, focusing on the whole child. Each scholar chooses from a stimulating menu of academic clubs and personalized mentoring is provided to students to support the social-emotional growth of our adolescents.
We take the responsibility of educating our scholars very seriously. We have a track record of being able to teach all types of learners and we hold high expectations for each scholar. We work relentlessly to ensure each student will succeed in their high school, college, career and life.
