At Middle School 267, we know that being a great school is not enough. In order to go above and beyond, we look to partner with community partners so that our students, staff and all community members can work together to enrich the lives of everyone and make a positive difference in our world.
COllege ACCESS for All Program
The College Access for All Program is designed in partnership with SASF, to facilitate student exposure to Colleges. From learning about different institutions, areas of study to going on College Tours and more, students will have the opportunity to delve into College research far earlier than ever before.
Brooklyn MUseum
We are proud partners with Brooklyn Museum to help enrich the lives of our students in meaningful ways. The Brooklyn Museum is embarking on an exciting project to engage middle school students in social justice initiatives through art education called the Art & Justice Program. The goal of the partnership is for students and teachers to strengthen their socio-political engagement through the exploration of artworks, art making and social (in)justice in their school and local community.
YCMA Y-Scholar Program
The Y-Scholar Program is a collaborative effort with the YMCA to provide our students with opportunities. As per their website mission statement, "In 2000, the YMCA of the Central Bay Area (formerly Berkeley-Albany YMCA) in collaboration with UC Berkeley's Destination College created the Y-Scholars Program to address the achievement gap at Berkeley High School. Over 500 students have graduated from the program and enrolled in college." We are happy to offer our own collaborative partnership with the Y-Scholars program to ensure our students can succeed.
Learning Partners Program
The Learning Partners Program is designed to promote collaborative learning by matching a school that has demonstrated strength in a specific area of practice, known as a host school, with schools interested in strengthening practices in that area, or partner schools. These specific areas of practice were identified by school leaders, teachers, and support staff as key characteristics needed for schools to promote college and career readiness for its students.
Middle School Quality Initiative
The Middle School Quality Initiative (MSQI) is the New York City Department of Education's focused effort to expand the number of middle schools that prepare students for college and career success. MSQI serves as the city's implementation plan for putting the Carnegie Reading Next report recommendations into action. The project has been guided by a vision for literacy reform described in Reading Next and put into practice by a team of committed and experienced literacy leaders in the city. Also central to this vision is the MSQI Debate Program and MSQI Science Fair.

Sports and Arts Foundation
Sports and Arts Foundation is our partner, providing their services after-school each and every day. As per their website, "Preparing middle school students for the academic and social challenges they will encounter high school, college, and beyond is the foundation of SASF’s Middle School program. We provide our students with the critical tools and resources to help them and their families attain their goals." From homework help, i-Ready practice to Basketball and other social events, SASF has helped our scholars to become more creative and even more successful in their studies.
Children of Promise
Children of Promise, NYC (CPNYC) is a community based, non-profit organization, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, whose mission is to embrace the children of incarcerated parents and empower them to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system. CPNYC offers an innovative and unique after-school program and summer day camp, the only one of its kind in New York City, specifically designed to meet the needs, interests and concerns of children left behind by parents serving time in prison.
